Track Name: Jerry
You marry your sweet heart in the year of our lord
You join the police force just as it was told
You can put all of the speed limit signs back
So that all of your friends fall into my old trap
I could wipe all of our criminal records clean
If I can touch you like the holy spirit touches me.

You get yourself wet to all your neighbor’s kids
You say that it’s okay because you know that they’re not his
And I’ll show you all my tapes and CDs
And I can convince you this is normal to me
And I’ll wipe you of your sense of right or wrong
If you’ll kiss me, and make me feel like I belong

You come and save the day at the breaking of a head
You teach us of our safeties while harming them instead
And do you keep your doors locked at night because
I’ve got numbers and letters on your type
I can’t say that I’m not a married man
But I can promise and assure you that they won’t understand.
Track Name: Cults
I had some unsuspecting eyes even when I begged and pleaded.
You could have asked me just to lie, instead you closed your legs remaining seated.
And you'd ask me
And then you'd pry

Would it kill you to do more than walk me around town
Would it drain all your blood to ride a train to me to
hear me in your head and in hair
to hear me touch your skin and nudge your fears.
And so I killed
No I didn't kill.
And so I killed.
No, I didn't kill.

So listen to my prophecy, all your fears fearlessly heighten.
Eyes widen like a child's, the fool gathers round and listens.
"What if they listen"
"What if they hear."

So they tune to the speech of the wounded and the hurt
and then we hold our hands together and ask the universe
for someone guiltier to burn
as we pile the participants into grecian urns.

So we killed.
I didn't kill.
So they killed.
I didn't kill.

All this teaches me is how to swallow more

And they'll never know about the self inspired book
or how to tie their throats and limbs so no one sees the
fear as they smell all the burning wood
or why we run and scream to call out for a flood.
So I killed.
And so I killed.
And so I killed and killed and killed and killed and killed.
I don't want to kill anymore.
